Welcome to the Hampton lab webpage! We are located in the Biology department at the University of California, San Diego. Our research interests lie in the regulated degradation of HMGCoA-reductase (HMGR) and in ER protein degradation in general. Our model organism is Saccharomyces cerevisiae, or budding yeast.
